Relations between Cairo and Tehran are improving on a daily basis, Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa was reported by Iran Daily newspaper on Wednesday.
The official Syrian news agency (SANA) on Tuesday quoted Moussa as saying that his government is working toward strengthening ties with Iran and that officials from both countries are making efforts to make an ample atmosphere for full resumption of bilateral tics, the daily said.
Moussa added that Cairo wants, more than ever, to coordinate its policies with Iran in connection with issues pertaining to the Islamic world, the paper said, referring to the sour relationship between the two countries for the past 20 years, over signing Egypt a peace treaty with Israel in 1978 – Albawaba.com
