Rock outfit Bush are spending the next three months in the locked up in the recording studio and lead singer Gavin Rossdale is looking forward to it.
The sexy frontman has already spent the last eight weeks writing
tracks for the LP, which is as yet untitled.
Rossdale says, "I have about 20 songs ready. Rehearsing is a
f***ing nightmare.
"My favorite bit is when I've sussed out a song, my favorite
part is when I'm at home.
"I love making music and it's wicked hearing my songs back and
how the band play the songs back.
"You live in a bubble, all you do is go to the studio all day.
"You just cut off. I don't go out that much when I'm there. On
the last record I wore out the producers, for a musician I'm a
workaholic.”
Meanwhile Rossdale has turned down a cameo role in the movie
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
The Razorblade Suitcase star was offered the part of a drug addict in the film starring Johnny Depp.
He revealed: "I was to play a drug crazed maniac sniffing his
sleeve in a toilet; I thought that wasn't the way to begin my
career.
"I just hold out waiting for the right thing- there's no rush for
that.
"I don't want to be anything clichéd. I want to be a creative
character; something inspiring.” – Wenn.
