BT to Discuss Resilient Infrastructures for the 21st Century at Telecom World Middle East

Business risks and resilience enhancement of global operations will be discussed at the Telecom World Conference taking place November 17th-20th, at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai, UAE.

Ray Stanton, Global Head of BT's Business Continuity, Security and Governance (BCSG) practice, is set to address telecom and security experts on his experienced approach to building resilient infrastructures for the 21st Century.
“Global risk environment is more volatile and stakeholders demand protection of their assets and proof your business is resilient.  Strong business continuity strategies, following basic principles are the best way to protect your business,” said Stanton.
“It is important to preserve the reliability and confidentiality of your company’s information and IT resources. This can be done by sharing technology and operational risks with trusted, qualified partners.  Risk management standards must be introduced to deal with the continuing convergence of networks.  Risk is not going away and it must be embraced with a plan of action already in place,” adds Stanton.

BT has a wealth of experience in building and managing secure global networks, providing complete protection for global networked IT infrastructures. Its services in the security area combine a unique set of tools, with the experience, knowledge and expertise of consultants from BT Counterpane and BT's Ethical Hacking Centre of Excellence

Currently, BT supplies a core of set networked IT services such as managed global IP services, business continuity, security and risk resilience quick starts, CRM services, sector specific solutions, professional services and outsourcing to multi-site organisations and major institutions.

BT's Business Continuity, Risk and Compliance quick starts are an integral part of the service offered in the Middle East. These services help organisations assess their current capabilities, set objectives and develop an approach to risk and compliance that will bring significant business benefits in the management of their operational risks.
