An explosion has taken place outside the headquarters of UK forces in the southern Iraqi city of Basra on Friday.
The blast damaged two cars parked near the entrance of the base.
Eyewitnesses told AFP that either a bomb or a grenade was thrown from a passing car.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. (Albawaba.com)
