Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Telecommunications Company is sponsoring H.M. The King’s First Golf Cup, organised by the Bahrain Golf Federation, which will take place at Riffa Golf Club on March 29th, 30th and 31st.
Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa presented a sponsorship cheque to Bahrain Golf Federation Deputy President General Khalifa Al Fadhala when he visited Batelco’s Hamala headquarters 25th February.
Bahrain Golf Federation has invited 80 players from Bahrain, Asia and the Far East to participate in the inaugural event.
“We extend our thanks to His Majesty for this great initiative to promote golf in the Kingdom and are delighted to help contribute to the success of the event,” said Shaikh Hamad.
“The event will serve to promote Bahrain as a sporting and tourism destination with facilities that compare to the best the world has to offer.”
“This sponsorship is an inseparable part of Batelco’s sponsorship & donation plan designed to support a wide range of events in Bahrain and promote the Kingdom’s name overseas,” he added.
