Batelco Jordan hosts Minister of ICT

Batelco Jordan last week played host to a visit by Jordan’s Information and Communications Technology Minister H.E. Mr. Omar Kurdi to its Headquarters in Medinah Street.

Mr. Al Kurdi was introduced to Batelco Jordan's unique, practical, and cost effective services, in addition to the company’s goals, objectives, future plans, and operations.

During the visit executives reviewed the obstacles facing the ICT sector in the Kingdom and aimed at drawing a national strategy for the development of ICT sector in contributing to the enhancement the Jordanian telecommunications market and boosting the national economy.

Marwan Juma, Chief Executive Officer of Batelco Jordan said: “We would like to thank Mr. Al Kurdi for his visit to our company, and believe we will have a fruitful and purposeful relationship going forward.   Our intention is to always deliver the most developed, innovative services and products to our clients in line with the Kingdom’s ICT strategy.”

Mr. Juma’a has continuously emphasized on the importance of the cooperation of the Ministry of ICT and the TRC to achieve the true liberalization of the sector in order to benefit the Kingdom, the industry and most importantly the customer.
