A Baroque and Vocal Chamber Music Recital featuring advanced Adult singing students from the Dubai Vocal Studio, and Janet Hildebrand-Hassouneh, is due to take place on Saturday at the American University of Sharjah at 8 pm, according to Gulf News.
Vocal works by Handel, Vivaldi, Bach, Lully, Haydn and Mozart among others will be featured. Vocal artists Marian Nelson, Dina Zalami and Aurore Dib will offer a variety of music pieces for soprano in a splendid range of vocal color and styles.
Local-based instrumentalists such as Riad Kudsi (violin), Carol Bracey (cello), Lynn Fischer (flute), Sarah Melam (oboe), Mark Needs (trumpet) and Hanneke Willson (pianoforte), will join the singers in works that are rarely heard on the local scene.
