Israel Prime Minister Ehud Barak is expected to visit the Gaza Strip on Tuesday to visit soldiers stationed there after canceling a similar visit the day before, his office said.
His trip to Gaza, which Israel occupied in 1967, follows a massive bombardment on the area Monday night in retaliation for a bomb attack on a Jewish settler school bus that killed two people and injured another nine.
A member of the Palestinian security services was killed in the night-time air and sea raids that also left some 120 people injured, officials and hospital sources said.
A spokeswoman at Barak's office said he would give a press conference during his visit -- JERUSALEM (AFP)
