Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is scheduled to meet US President Bill Clinton on Sunday November 12 in Washington, Israeli public radio said.
Officials in Barak's office were not available for immediate comment.
"Barak is scheduled to leave Israel on Saturday night (11/11) and to meet Clinton on Sunday, before departing for a Jewish conference in Chicago," the radio said.
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is scheduled to meet the US president on Thursday, his adviser Nabil Abu Rudeina said.
The meetings are aimed at finding ways to end the violence that has engulfed the region in the last five week and to jump start the stalled peace process – JERUSALEM (AFP)
