Banc of America Leasing Appoints International Corporate Aircraft Finance Senior Sales Executive in London

Banc of America Leasing today announced the appointment of Alex Badran as managing director and head of sales for International Corporate Aircraft Finance (ICAF). Badran is responsible for leading ICAF’s expansion across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific. He reports to Phil Perkins, head of Asset Finance Origination for EMEA and Asia Pacific, and is based in London.

“Alex has a wealth of experience, relationships and knowledge of the aircraft finance industry,” commented Perkins. “I am confident that with continued support from ICAF director Toennies von Limburg, Alex will accelerate the development of our international corporate aircraft business, bring new sales talent on board, and develop our global origination and execution capabilities. This is in line with Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s overall international expansion plans.”

Badran has over 30 years experience in equipment finance and leasing through various international business leadership and sales positions at Barclays, GE Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland and Cessna Finance Corporation. His corporate aviation finance experience extends from the mid-1990s where he was director and head of Corporate Aircraft Finance, Europe at GE Capital to his most recent position at Cessna Finance, where he was senior vice president in Global Aviation Finance for EMEA and Asia Pacific.
