ALBAWABA - The armed branch of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, declared their triumph in an operation that took place in Rafah, Gaza Strip, where they reportedly targeted and eliminated 15 Israeli soldiers.

In the At-Tannur district of Rafah, Al-Qassam's forces attacked a fortified structure that housed a large number of Israeli soldiers, according to Al-Qassam. After using rifles and grenades to engage the troops at close range, the militants ultimately detonated an anti-personnel explosive device, neutralizing the opposing forces.

Al-Qassam also confirmed to have fired mortar rounds against Israeli soldiers positioned at the Rafah border crossing in conjunction to this operation. They said that in the against-Tannur area, they fired a Yasin 105 round against an Israeli Merkava tank. Clashes continued in Rafah's eastern districts in the meanwhile.

Some "qualitative operations" against the Israeli occupation were shown in footage made public by Al-Qassam. One such operation was a sniper shooting an Israeli soldier on the eastern fronts of Jabalia city in northern Gaza. Three Israeli troops were seen in the video putting up equipment on a building's rooftop before one of them was hit and collapsed, forcing the other soldiers to run for their lives.

Yesteday, Al-Qassam Brigades have released footage showcasing a coordinated attack on Israeli military assets in two separate locations within the Gaza Strip.

The operation, said to have taken place east of Jabalia camp in northern Gaza and east of Rafah city in the south, targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles.

In the video footage, Al-Qassam fighters are seen engaging an Israeli Merkava tank and a military vehicle using Yasin 105 shells. Additionally, they unleashed gunfire from a BKC machine gun towards a group of soldiers near Jabalia camp.
