In the Sheikh Redhwan area, an Israeli force comprising 20 soldiers was struck inside a building, resulting in casualties. 

Simultaneously, an Al-Yassin 105 shell was launched at an Israeli troop carrier in the Al-Tawam area, north of Gaza City.
