Al-Markazia, Central Trade and Auto Company, the authorized dealer for Toyota, Lexus and Hino vehicles in the Kingdom, launched its Annual Ramadan Charity Campaign for the fourth year in a row. The campaign is organized as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which aims to provide support for various segments of the local community.
The campaign began in the city of Salt at the Abrar Charity Association last Monday, where the company held an Iftar banquet that brought together more than 140 orphans, underprivileged citizens and visually impaired individuals. The company will also liaise with the Orphan Care and Sponsorship Society to disseminate food packages to underprivileged families in Mafraq on Thursday, August 18th.
“This campaign aims to extend much needed support to our brothers and sisters during this holy month, which is a time of charity and goodwill,” commented Al-Markazia’s Marketing Manager Nadim Haddad. “We are organizing this campaign for the fourth consecutive year as part of a long-term strategy that will see us launching a variety of similar campaigns throughout the year. Our strategy stems from our deep commitment to maintaining communication lines with and improving the quality of life in our local community.
Al-Markazia’s campaign will continue until the end of Ramadan and will also comprise of a number of activities for the students of Al Husban Secondary Schools, which the company sponsors under the Madrasati Initiative. The company is also organizing an Iftar banquet and a series of cultural activities for the residents of the Jordan Valley, in partnership with the Zikra Initiative.
