Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has joined the Association of Event Venues (AEV), the leading international trade organisation for world-class venues in the exhibition and event industry. The move represents an important milestone in ADNEC’s history and further signifies its evolution to a world class exhibition venue.
The AEV represents the interests of venues within the wider events industry and works closely with the Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO) and the Association of Exhibitions Contractors (AEC) to increase the profile and significance of events

One of ADNEC’s seven pledges to the international exhibition industry is to recognise the internationally accepted protocol which exists within the industry and by joining AEV we are clearly demonstrating our commitment to this pledge.”

ADNEC recently opened Phase 1 of its brand new Exhibition Centre. With a Gross Floor Area of 94,000sqm, ADNEC currently provides more than 28,000sqm of exhibition floor space spread over seven interconnected halls. The venue also consists of two luxurious conference rooms, 16 meeting rooms and a 2,000sqm food court.
Upon completion of Phase Two in summer 2008, ADNEC will consist of 55,000sqm of exhibition floor space making it one of the largest purpose built exhibition centres in the Middle East.
