The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced Wednesday it will establish a Petroleum Institute aimed at “bring the best from education and industry to create a world class regional center in the fields of engineering, applied science and research,” reported the Emirati News Agency (WAM).
A council will direct the Petroleum Institute, whose board members will be approved by the emirate’s Supreme Council, said the agency.
International industry partners BP, JODCO, Shell and TotalFinaElf will take part in establishing the institute, said the agency – Albawaba.com
