ALBAWABA- India has confirmed 260 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of active cases to 1,828, as per the latest update from the Union Health Ministry.
It is worth noting that the death toll in India has reached 5,33,317, while the country's overall Covid case tally stands at 4.50 million (4,50,05,076).
On a positive note, the number of recovered individuals has risen to 4,44,69,931, with a national recovery rate of 98.81%.
The case fatality rate is reported at 1.19%. The health ministry's website indicates that a total of two billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered across the country.
