The "Joy of Success" charity event, organised by the Women’s Section of the Charitable Society for the Care of Orphans (Insan), hosted around 250 children in a daylong event which included several educational and interactive activities for orphaned children. In line with its CSR program, Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. Ltd., a leading producer of dairy products and fruit juices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the largest juice manufacturer in the Middle East, participated in the charity event by holding interactive and entertaining discussions about the importance a healthy lifestyle, while distributing food packages, bottles of fruit juices and various giveaways to the children.
Members and volunteers from the Women’s Section of “Insan” treated the children from the eastern section of Riyadh to various fun games, special storytelling sessions and other educational activities. A special corner was also set up for the younger children participating in the event. The event was made more enjoyable with the distribution of food and drinks from Al Rabie, which was accompanied by pep talks by volunteers on proper eating habits and maintaining a healthy food diet.
Monther Al Harthi, General Manager, Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. Ltd., said, “Al Rabie continues to extend its support to social programs that aim to care for and develop today’s younger generation. These children need to know that despite the hardships that they have gone through, there are people and organisations like “Insan” and “Al Rabie” that are more than willing to extend a helping hand. These efforts will hopefully help nurture these kids, who will potentially be the future leaders and innovators of the future.”
