Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics has capped a successful Dubai Shopping Festival season by rewarding 15 lucky customers a Chevrolet Aveo car each.
Mr. C. H. Lee, President of LG Gulf FZ LLC, acknowledged that the digital leader had notched up a 22 per cent increase in sales over the corresponding months, with LG and its UAE distributor, Al Yousef Electronics, announcing a spate of attractive deals on household appliances during the 45-day Festival.
“DSF brought a strong growth in our LCD TV, plasma TV, notebook and audio-visual product segments,” said Lee. “Customers flocked to Al Yousef showrooms to take advantage of the spectacular discounts offered on our products and enjoy the LG experience.”
To celebrate the DSF season, LG hosted a raffle draw where all customers were given a raffle coupon upon every purchase of Dhs200, entitling them to an opportunity to win a Chevrolet Aveo. This week, Ms. Moza Mattar, an official of the Department of Economic Development, picked out the names of 15 lucky winners. The draw was conducted at the Al Yousef Electronics showroom in Ibn Battuta Mall.
“This raffle draw is the culmination of 45 days of frenzied shopping, where LG has seen a sustained demand for products,” said Lee. “We are well-known for our high quality and affordable products. The high sales figures during this period demonstrate this upward trend.”
