“Universitas 21 Global playing a critical role in promoting eLearning”:Dr. Abdulla Karam

Dr. Abdulla Karam, CEO Dubai Knowledge Village was the Guest of Honour at the recently conducted networking event for the students of Universitas 21 Global, the world’s premier online Graduate School.

Appreciating Universitas 21 Global’s status as  one of the very first online academic institutes to share Dubai’s realization of the importance and potential of eLearning, Dr. Karam said it is playing a critical role, as eLearning is set to be the driver of the UAE’s knowledge based economy.

Addressing the students at the event, Dr. Karam said: “I am sure that Universitas 21 Global will be in the vanguard of that development, and your presence here is a testament to the fact that the acceptance and awareness levels of eLearning have reached new heights in the UAE.”

The Middle East Student Chapter was also launched at the event. Outlining the reasons behind this, Dr. Mukesh Aghi, CEO, Universitas 21Global, said: “The purpose of these Chapters is to bring together Universitas 21 Global students from all walks of life, providing them with a means of tapping into their expertise and leadership qualities. The Chapter will also serve as a point of contact between the University and the local student communities.”
