Amman -   World-renowned, Jordanian pianist and composer, Zade Dirani will lead more than 90 elite musical performers at the Roman Theater tonight, making history through an unprecedented concert event, One Night in Jordan.

Zade has specifically written a select few new compositions for this special occasion.  They include a musical piece entitled, “Haya,” dedicated to HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.  One Night in Jordan, is being presented under the patronage of Princess Haya and dedicated to the memory of His Majesty the late King Hussein.  The new composition for the Princess is in Zade’s concert program for One Night in Jordan.  This multi-faceted musical event, which is inspired by Jordan’s quest for peace, is a once-in-a-lifetime event devoted to Jordan's message of peace and tolerance to the rest of the world.

Jordan’s own musical inspiration, Zade will be accompanied by London’s illustrious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), conducted by now Hollywood-based Australian conductor and arranger, Ashley Irwin.  Referred to sometimes as “Britain's national orchestra,” the RPO is considered one of the top orchestras in the world and is widely famous from touring the globe and performing popular music everywhere.

Zade will also be accompanied by the infamous London Voices choir, one of the most renowned choirs in the entertainment industry.  This talented choir offers the finest professional choral singers for film soundtracks, CD recordings, concerts, opera and concert tours.

Zade’s fans and in particular the Jordanian audience at the Roman Theater in Amman will also have a golden opportunity to see live in person for the first time many international guest musicians with incredibly impressive career records and individual talent.  Special guest stars include:  Charlie Bisharat  (Solo Violinist), Karen Briggs (Solo Violinist), Frank Crawford (Keyboards), Pedro Eustache (World Woodwinds), Gary Innes, (Accordion), Jana, (Guest Vocalist from Lebanon), Lilit Khojayan (Kanoon),  John Pena (Bass Guitar), John Robinson (Drums), Walter Rodriquez (Latin Percussion), Nasser  Salameh (Middle Eastern Percussions), Ramon Stagnaro (Spanish Guitar), and Michael Thompson (Electric Guitar).

This spectacular concert event will be videotaped in high-definition (HD) technology for international CD/DVD release, featuring footage of the Kingdom's key historical sites, including one of the New 7 Wonders of the World: Petra.

Challenged to realize a technical miracle, the large production crew, led by celebrated concert promoter and producer, Danny O’Donovan, will be using 15 HD cameras from CTV London, including an aerial helicopter filming the event.  A Television Special of the event will be ready for worldwide broadcast later this year.

O'Donovan and his team will be using 50 tons of the highest quality state-of-the-art equipment brought from London, Los Angeles and Dubai to Amman, on board two chartered Airbus A310’s. Many of the production crew members also come from London, Los Angeles and Dubai.

The audio recording of the concert for the CD and DVD and TV will be carried out by Fleetwood Mobile, which has a history in recording the top world concerts in the most prestigious venues, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, The sound system for the Roman Theater is provided by Sound By Design, also from London.

This monumental concert event, one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ever staged in Jordan will be followed early next year with the release of the Live CD and DVD, and in the spring of 2009, Zade will go on a world tour to support Jordan’s message of peace and tolerance to the rest of the world.
