‘Legends Rock Dubai’ Winner Makes A Racket Thanks To Cadillac
Tennis fan Mohannad Haddad got more than he bargained for at this weekend’s ‘Legends Rock Dubai’ tournament at the Dubai Aviation Club, when he found himself the lucky winner of the “Cadillac Star Racket” prize, signed by the legendary Stefan Edberg. Also during the four days event, Raymond Kelly won a racket signed by Mansour Bahrami, the Iranian legendary tennis player and Angelyn Solanki won another racket signed by Stefan Edberg.
Edberg is regarded as arguably the greatest serve-and-volley player of all time, winning 42 singles titles, including 6 Grand Slams. Ecstatic winner, walked away with the collectors item by simply entering a daily draw with their basic information at Cadillac stand. The symbolic rackets are courtesy of leading luxury car brand Cadillac, official transport providers for the ‘Legends Rock Dubai’ and sponsors of the event for the past three years.
Marketing manager for Cadillac in the Middle East, Adib Takieddine, who presented the prize, explained: “Cadillac has an luxury car in every segment of the luxury market, and we share the same drive and desire for success as the legends that played here in Dubai displayed during their own careers.”
