Egyptian actress Bushra has given her approval for the leading role in the new television drama “That” (Self), which preparations for have been taking place for several months. The story of the drama is taken from a novel by novelist San’ Allah Ibrahim.
The drama will be directed by Kamilah Abu Thikri and will also costar Basim Samrah.
The television channel ‘BBC’ in cooperation with the production company ‘Aflam Masr Al Alamieh’ (Egypt’s International Films) will produce the new drama.
The history of Egypt will be portrayed through the drama and events will begin in 1952 moving up to the year 2011.
