It is safe to say the move tickled Saudi Twitter users:

#Trump reconsiders the issue of targeting of Muslims after the congratulations of Muslat al-Sobaie, Muslat embarrasses Trump through his congratulations

You didn’t even say goodbye to me, Muslat.

Breaking, the White House announces the suspension of the JASTA law [which allows families of 9/11 victims to take Saudi Arabia to court] and the suspension of the Iran nuclear deal after Muslat’s congratulations.

When asked about his motives for the generous gesture, Al-Sobaie explained to Al-Arabiya: “I congratulated him because he has a transparent and charismatic personality, and he is clearly standing strong against Iran, our biggest enemy.”

Al-Sobaie took his lead from his country's King Salman, who sent a letter of congratulations to Trump following his inauguration on Friday, saying he believed that Trump’s character was transparent and strong.
