There’s a YouTube goldmine of parodies from that rebel group’s training video

Earlier this week, we found a bizarre training video from the US-backed rebel group Knights of Justice Brigade. Turns out we're not the only ones who found that Syrian rebel training video from the Knights of Justice Brigade entertaining.

A refresher: The Knights are an Idlib-based rebel group who have been supported, equipped and trained by the US in varying degrees since 2014. In July they released a video showcasing this new training. But all the fire and nunchuck action made it kind of hard to take it seriously. It also made us wonder what hand the group's US backers had in it all.

Internet trolls have not been kind to the training video. And while we assume it was meant to be serious, it looks like the potential for parody was too good to ignore. A series of them arrived on YouTube right after the original release. While we could try to explain them, we'll just leave them here, instead.

This one's overdubbed with American rapper Ludacris' "Move B*tch," and called "Move Kuffar" (Arabic for "non-believer").

This next one's called, "Kung Fu Fedayeen."  Fedayeen is Arabic for "those who sacrifice," and you can probably infer the rest of the title.

Rocky.

The "Secret Agent Mujahideen."

You're welcome.
