Emirates Airline announced yesterday the unveiling of their new aircraft, the ‘Triple-Decker APR001’, which features a swimming pool, games room, gym and theme park. The announcement tweet included a full diagram with details of the amenities:

The news seemed to be legitimate at first, but speculation quickly arose as to whether the whole thing was a prank for April Fool’s day! Considering that Emirates have a reputation for being at the forefront of airline luxury customers remained unsure, until today when they posted the following tweet:
Our triple-decker aircraft concept was a fun way to bring in April 1st. Thank you for sharing our enthusiasm for air travel as it should be. https://t.co/j9cavIwl9Q

Good one Emirates! We have to say Middle Eastern airlines have been bang on the money with their marketing recently, particularly Royal Jordanian Airlines who have come out with a series of great lines digging at Trump’s travel ban and the recent electronics ban on flights from the Middle East to the UK and US.
