Donald Trump made a new enemy this week—Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud.
The two business moguls got into a Twitter spat with ripple effects that lasted through Sunday, when the Saudi prince called on Trump to step down from running for US president. Here's the first tweet.
.@realDonaldTrump You are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America. Withdraw from the U.S presidential race as you will never win.

The Donald then fired back with a response that shouldn't surprise anyone. Here's the Tweet.
Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy’s money. Can’t do it when I get elected. #Trump2016

Now, Twitter fights are always fun, especially when they're between two of the richest people in the world. And there's a lot more that has already been said about the details of this particular bout—Twitter users have pointed out that Bin Talal may not be the most effective voice against Trump, given the Saudi Royal Family's recent spat of scandals.
Still, probably the most ironic part of Trump's response was his reference to Bin Talal's use of 'daddy's money.' If you think back a few months, you may remember when the Republican presidential candidate was asked during a TODAY show airing at a town hall in New Hamshire whether he'd ever been told "no" to anything in his life. This was followed by a tale of Trump's upbringing.
"My whole life, really, has been a no. It has not been easy for me," he told TODAY. "I started off in Brooklyn. My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars. I came into Manhattan, and I had to pay him back, and I had to pay him back with interest. But I came into Manhattan and I started buying properties, and I did great."
Trump's father, Fred, was a self-made real estate mogul in Brooklyn and Queens with a net worth of hundreds of millions before he died in 1999.
Obviously, the incredible irony was illustrated in a number of ways following the comment. But none quite as beautiful as this video.
