One subreddit is pushing the boundaries of humor with parody videos of extremist attacks.

The five-month-old subreddit, called "Unexpected Jihad," is a forum where users upload videos of innocent footage — mostly old YouTube videos — and turn them into surprise extremist attacks.

The videos normally end with out-of-context explosions accompanied with the shout of, "Allahu akbar," inserted after, say, a girl's flying toy tragically lands in the fireplace.

Other videos contain more sensitive material — this one makes use of 9/11 footage. It's also the top post of all time in the sub.

Regardless of where you land on the sensitivity scale, it's hard to deny there's a thin line the subreddit's walking between what's funny and what's outright offensive.
