Egyptian actress Yusra has denied circulating rumors in most newspapers that she and her friend Egyptian controversial director Enas Al Dughaidi were assaulted during their participation in an event held in London by the Egyptian community.
Yusra stressed that she had gone to London for a period of 48 hours only and never took part in any celebration held by the Egyptian community.
According to the Egyptian newspaper Al Dastour, Yusra noted that she was in Egypt on the day ousted Egyptian President Husni Mubarak stepped down from his position. Yusra also stated that Enas did not accompany her on her short trip, and the two had not travelled together for over a year now.
Rumors had it that Yusra and Enas were assaulted during an event in London for the Egyptian community, which was in celebration of the success of the January 25 Revolution that overthrew Mubarak, due to their support of Mubarak and his regime.
