Amidst investigations by Egypt’s auditing department over the exaggerated wages of Egyptian stars, actresses Yusra and Ghada Adel have disappeared from the scenes and closed their cell phones so as not to receive any calls and be tracked down.
According to the London based Elaph, Egyptian television officials have announced that they will begin to hold investigations regarding the wages of Egyptian artists in different fields. Egyptian director Enas Al Dughaidi, who is on the list to be questioned, has been answering her phone and denying that she is Enas saying that the number is incorrect to avoid being tracked down.
The investigations are being done due to the fact that stars are being paid enormous amounts despite the fact that their works did not achieve profits to cover their salaries.
