Egyptian folk singer Saed Al Sughair was very disappointed to learn of recent rumors accusing him of stealing donations that were collected for families of martyrs of the Egyptian January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak.

Saed stressed that he would never commit such a crime and he is not the type of person that would take such drastic and inhumane measures and steal money that was collected to help those in need.

Saed has threatened to sue the lawyer that claiming to represent families of martyrs, who falsely accused Saed of stealing funds. Saed added that the lawyer’s accusations are not true and there is no evidence to prove he committed such a crime.

News sources had reported that an Egyptian lawyer named Mahmoud Imam had filed a lawsuit against Saed, actor Ahmad Adam and a group of banking institutions accusing them of stealing donations that were collected to help support families of martyrs of the revolution.
