Egyptian controversial actress/belly dancer has refused make any comments regarding a recent poll held by one of the Moroccan magazines about who people thought was the most desirable and seductive Arab women. Ruby was ranked among the last names.
Ruby stated that she has no knowledge of the poll, therefore she cannot make any form of comment stressing that such polls are meaningless to her and which tackle issues that are in no way related to real art and are after creating gossip.
Ruby added that what matters to her as an artist, whether she is considered an actress, a dancer or singer is that she presents something that is meaning and memorable, adding that she feels very proud when she is recognized for performing good in a certain job. She also stated that she is overwhelmed when a noted critic gives her good criticism. Ruby stressed that being seductive no longer holds any meaning to her and she wants to be respected by all who watch her.
