Prominent Egyptian actor Omar El Sharif has called on the Egyptian President Husni Mubarak to step down from his position saying that he has failed in improving the living condition of Egyptians and 30 years in power is more than enough.

According to the London based Elaph, during a phone interview with the radio station France Inter, Omar said that Mubarak should resign from power since the Egyptian people refuse to accept his tyrant rule.

The actor added that Mubarak failed in improving living conditions and currently there is one percent of the population that is extremely rich and the remaining ninety nine are poverty stricken in search of food.

The Egyptian people have begun a revolution against Mubarak and his tyrant regime demanding that he resigns from his current position and let there be a true democracy.
