Mina Shalabi nominates Amro Musa

Egyptian actress Mina Shalabi has announced her nomination of the Secretary General of the Arab League Amro Musa for the Egyptian presidential elections. Mina stressed that Amro’s experience and persona makes her confident that he would be a very suitable president for Egypt.

 

According to the internet website MBC.net, during an interview with the newspaper Rosa Al Yousif, Mina stated that the minute she heard that Amro Musa may run for elections she was a supporter for she admires him very much and confident in his opinions and actions.

 

Mina added that Amro has good judgment in matters of importance and has a lot of experience as a leader and a person of position. She added that the moment elections begin she will give her voice to him immediately.

 

Mina denied rumors that she had fled Egypt during the revolution of January 25 that overthrew the government of former President Husni Mubarak. Mina also denied being a supporter of Mubarak and his regime and was very happy with the success of the revolution.
