Lebanese singer Marwa said that she is naturally better looking than Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi. Marwa added that in addition to being better looking on the outside she is also better looking on the inside and denied undergoing any form of plastic surgery throughout her life.
According to the London based Elaph, Marwa made her comments during her interview on the show “Bilisan Mu’arideek” (In the tongue of your opposition) hosted by Tony Khaleefah and aired on the Egyptian channel ‘Al Qahira Wal Nas. Marwa said that Haifa is her biggest opposition and rival.
Marwa noted that Haifa had recently refused to sing with her at a concert at the Four Seasons hotel in Cairo. She added that at first the performance was supposed to be held by Haifa, but only 20 tickets were sold, and so the management of the hotel had to call on Marwa and signed a contract with her to perform to be able to sell all the tickets.
On the show, Marwa denied the existence of disputes between her and the Doctors Union over her role in the film ‘Doctor Silicon’, stating that the entire matter is mere rumors.
Marwa revealed that the most Lebanese singer she admires is Nancy Ajram and she does not like Haifa to say the least due to the endless disputes she has with other singers. From Egypt, she revealed that she likes Shireen Abd Al Wahab and she does not like Athar Al Hakeem for attacking her in the past.
