Sadly and unexpectedly the Kuwaiti and Arab acting world has bid legendary Kuwaiti actor Ghanem Saleh farewell after he passed away on the 19th of the current month at a hospital in London. The actor was being treated for severe infections in his lung that resulted into lung cancer and eventually took his life at the age of 68.
Saleh was born in 1942 and has five children. He had devoted his life to his acting career and presented some of the best plays and television dramas in Kuwaiti and Arab history.
The late actor had received numerous awards for his great achievements. This past Ramadan season, Saleh had taken part in three different television dramas.
The first drama was “Laylat Eid” (Holiday Eve) alongside prominent Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al Fahed, the second was “Akhwan Mariam” (Mariam’s Brothers) alongside actor Jasem Al Nabhan and the last with Ahmad Jawhar in “Al Manqasi”.
