Prominent Syrian actor Hasan Dakak, known for his role in the hit television drama series “Bab Al Hara” (The Neighborhood Door) as the bakery owner Abu Basheer, has passed away at the age of 56. The funeral ceremony was attended by Hasan’s family, friends and a number of Syrian stars like Wafeeq Al Za’eem, Mu’min Al Malah and Yaser Al Athimah.
Hasan had passed away after encountering a sudden heart attack while performing his morning prayers. The late actor’s brother, Basam stated that Hasan’s death was a sudden shock and no one expected it due to the fact that he was not suffering from any cardiovascular pain or any other ailment. Basam added that the only health condition Hasan suffered was diabetes.
Hasan’s youngest son, Eyad, said that his father called out to him when he had the heart attack and once he reached him he was already on the floor bluish in color. He added that they immediately took him to the hospital and after being in the Emergency Room for half an hour the doctor came out and informed them that his father had passed away.
