The trial date for the lawsuit filed by Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi against Lebanese journalist Nidal Al Ahmadiyah has been postponed to December 6 of the current year.
Haifa had filed a lawsuit against the magazine “Kawalees” for publishing an interview with Nidal, in which the latter had said that she is not a slut like Haifa. The magazine had used the statement made by Nidal as the title of its interview and placed it in bold letters on the cover of the magazine.
Haifa was outraged at the blasphemous remarks and was insulted that the magazine would use the remarks as the heading for the interview. The singer was adamant about taking the matter to court and decided to sue Nidal and the magazine.
