The title of the short film “Film Sex” has given rise to chaos and a strong attack over its title. The film, which is directed by Mohammad Adel, is encountering harsh insults on its internet website.

The duration of the film is 25 minutes and its storyline revolves around the Egyptian and Arab societies, who always make rash judgments about certain matters focusing on the outside and not neglecting to see the true meaning from within.

The title of the film insinuates that it is about intimate stories and that it contains improper sexual scenes, but the actual film in no tackles this subject, but rather tells the story of a young man that studied the science of writing scripts in the United States over a period of five years.  As part of the young man’s education he was asked to write a scenario and presented it to a group of producers who were eager to turn it into a film and produce it.

The cast of the film include Amro Madbooli, Ahmad Al Assal, Basim Issam, Hussam Hilmi and Ibrahim Fawaz. The director of the film is striving to include the film among the short film category at the Cannes Film Festival.
