Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has recently completed filming a music video for the song “Widi Haki” (I want talk), which is from her latest album “Bint Usool” (Daughter of origin). The song was sung in the modern Iraqi style in terms of composition and musical distribution.

“Widi Haki” marked the return of Diana and Emirati director Nahla Al Fahed’s cooperation, who had chosen specific filming locations in the city of Shariqa in the UAE. Filming of the clip lasted for one day.

A professional team of dancers were featured in the music video that had performed special dances throughout the video. The song is written by Iraqi poet Dia Al Mayali and composed by Iraqi composer Hussam Kamel.

The song was chosen to be filmed based on popular demand from Diana’s fans, who insisted on her filming it as the first music video from the album.

Diana said that she chose the song “Widi Haki” specifically due to the fact that it holds so much meaning and is very appropriate for the conditions currently taking place in the Arab world. She added that the filming took great effort from her and she was very honored to work with Nahla, whom she considers a good and dear friend and was reason behind the success of many music videos Diana had released in the past.

Diana stated that Nahla always surprises her with her unique and new ideas and had revealed her in a new and daring look.

On her part, Nahla stated that she was very happy with the outcome of the video, which is different from any of Diana’s previous clips. Nahla stressed that she always strives to present female singers in a new look that they had not appeared in previously.

Nahla said that she enjoys working with Diana because she is very cooperative and is accepting of new ideas. Nahla noted that Diana will be revealed in a new look that will surely meet the satisfaction of her fans and the song will be a big hit.

The music video is expected to be launched in the next few days and will be aired on the music satellite channel ‘Wannasah’.
