Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi says that 2011 has started on a good note and looks “very promising.”

The singer revealed that a two-year divorce, process which has finally ended, was very hard on her.  Nawal said that the Lebanese Moronic Church has finally granted her a divorce from Elie Deeb and made her a free woman.

The news of the divorce came close to the same time that the singer returned to the music scenes with a new album. The album is witnessing tremendous success in terms of sales, according to production company ‘Melody’.

According to the London based Elaph, Nawal declined to comment about her divorce, stressing that it is a closed chapter in her life.

On a different note, Nawal is preparing to film a new music video for the song “Huna Al Qahira” (Here is Cairo) under Egyptian director Hadi Al Bajouri, currently in Beirut to discuss details of the clip with Nawal.
