A promo of Ahmed Helmy’s comedy TV show “Al Amaleyyah Misi” (Mission Misi) has finally aired, but he was nowhere to be seen in it... well, not quite!
The one-minute teaser featured an all-important “Misi the monkey” surrounded by three agents, all sporting suits and sunglasses, except for Misi of course!
But Ahmed was there: in spirit! The actor revealed that he will actually be doing the voice of Misi, despite having previously thought that he'll be playing the role of a monkey trainer!
According to Laha Magazine, in the comedy, CIA agents kidnap Misi and assign him to complete a highly important mission.
A "Barack Obama" lookalike will also be making an appearance on the show, which will air exclusively CBC TV this Ramadan.
