Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam stated recent circulating rumors that he was assaulted by members of Egyptian club “Altras” and the citizens of the suburbs of Bor Saeed are not true.
According to the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai, Adel stressed that all articles published in the press about the matter are untrue. He added that he was in Bor Saeed to film a scene for his upcoming television drama “Naji Attallah Band”, which is scheduled to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan.
He noted that he insisted on travelling to Bor Saeed despite the unstable conditions and was confident that the people of Bor Saeed will greet him with love and respect.
Adel said that he was shocked with the rumors of him being attacked and assaulted and the people of Bor Saeed are known to treat people with the utmost respect and would never act in a way that is inappropriate.
