Kohler expands its Vault Line Stainless Steel sinks with three new functional models

As an extension to the 2010 launch of the Vault fabricated stainless steel kitchen sinks, Kohler Co., a global leader in the manufacture of kitchen and bath products, has stepped-up its popular Vault thin-rim fabricated stainless steel kitchen sink line with the launch of three new functional models. The Apron Front, Smart Divide and Entertainment Stainless Steel Sinks are designed to provide home owners in the Middle East with a functional kitchen solution whilst offering exceptional value and modern aesthetics.

“The kitchen is often the first place in people’s homes to be remodelled in this region, as it is the focal point for family and friend bonding through meal preparation. Sinks perform a crucial role in the kitchen, so it is essential that they not only look great, but perform their function flawlessly too,” said Mohamed Nada, Regional Marketing Manager for Kohler Co. in the Middle East.

When installed as self-rim, the sink’s ledge is only 1.25 mm thick – about the thickness of a UAE Dirham coin – making the transition from sink to countertop appear seamless. This flush-mount profile also allows debris to be easily swept from the counter, over the rim, and into the sink basins. Constructed from 18-gauge stainless steel, the new Vault Line Stainless Steel sinks from Kohler include a bottom-basin rack, and utilize Silent Shield technology to reduce noise and vibration during normal use.

Vault Apron-Front Stainless Steel Sink

The Apron-front undercounter sinks can be fit for both 76.2- and 91.44-cm cabinets, eliminating the need for custom millwork.

The short 17.78 cm integrated apron allows the sink to be used in standard cabinetry or retrofitted into existing cabinetry, while the 22.8 cm -deep basin provides ample space. All that is required is the removal of a false drawer front and simple cut to the cabinet face. No additional trim work or caulking to fill cut lines is necessary.

The sink offers exceptional value by providing a high-end, fabricated design for less than most competitive apron-front sinks.

Vault Smart Divide Stainless Steel Sinks

Smart Divide is a lowered saddle which creates more clearance between the faucet and the saddle, making it easier to fit large items into basins. It also increases the ability to transfer large pots and pans between basins and minimizes splashing by containing water lower in the basin.

The new Smart Divide primary sinks (self-rimming or undercounter) measure 83.8  x 55.8 cm and are available as a double-equal or offset configuration.

Vault Stainless Steel Entertainment Sink

The entertainment sinks, at 38.1 x 38.1 cm, complements the primary kitchen sinks and fits easily within a wide range of cabinet sizes.

The sink can be mounted as either a self-rimming or undcercounter model with its low-profile
rim design.

Rear drain locations offer users more flat and functional workspace for storing or washing dishes, handling food or straining/draining water.
