Kuwaiti al-Rai Real Estate Company, a subsidiary owned by the public firm of Mabanee, has recently signed an agreement for a KD30 million (over $102 million) loan to be granted by the Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East (BKME) and Bahrain's Ahli United Bank (AUB). The loan will be directed to fund part of The Avenues shopping centre developed by Mabanee and al-Rai Real Estate in Kuwait's al-Rai area.
