Egypt Signs Law to Fine People Harassing Tourists

Egypt’s parliament approved on Monday an article from the Antiquities Protection Law that would stipulate strict financial fines for those who harass tourists at archeological sites.

Previous conferences also addressed current economic, social, and political issues, as well as the issue of the detained youth in political cases. (AFP)

Egypt’s parliament approves cabinet changes

Al-Sisi called on Egyptians, including media outlets, to not discuss the case again, arguing that the whole matter is now in the hands of parliament, which will in turn discuss the agreement and has the freedom to approve or refuse it. (Twitter)
