Egyptian Court Places Famous Striker Abou-Treika and about 1500 Others on 'Terror List'

An Egyptian criminal court has placed retired football star Mohamed Abou-Treika, along with 1529 other people, on the state’s terror list for a five-year term.

The court decision means that the footballer’s assets will be frozen for the next three years and his name will be added to a no-fly list at airports across the country.
