Lebanese singer Maria has recently completed filming her latest music video for her song “Bahibak Ad Eih” (I Love You So), under the direction of Jad Shwairi in Rotana’s studios.
Jad has chosen a new romantic idea for the clip, which revolves around a young girl who is trapped inside a flower and seeks the help of her lover, played by a French model, to aid in her escape.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Maria announced her plans to market a new line of perfume, taking advantage of her recent upsurge in popularity. The singer’s new line, for women (Exciting Woman) and men (Exciting Man), was developed by Mahmoud Saeed Inc.
With regard to rumors about a potential duet between Maria and controversial Egyptian singer Ruby, Maria revealed the rumors are false. When asked why she did not attend Ruby’s concert in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, she replied that Ruby did not attend her performance given at the same concert.
Maria claims that her upcoming album will be a bombshell, which will surely meet the satisfaction of her fans. She worked with a number of prominent composers to ensure the album is of the highest quality, she noted.
Until now, the singer has refused to accept any offer to star in a film, stressing that she wants to focus on her singing career and her performance in music videos is as far as she will go with regard to acting.
