Mixed signals in KSA as amnesty deadline for illegal workers approaches

Saudi Arabia announced in September that it will not extend amnesty deadlines that expire in November to workers in the Kingdom without legal status. As a result, thousands of expat workers are scrambling to legalize their status ahead of the looming deadline, but KSA and news sources are not making the process easy. With different parties issuing mixed statements each day, illegal workers trying to secure status countrywide are left in a standstill.
