Iraqis in Baghdad Protest Against U.S. Strikes on Syria

Hundreds of Iraqi citizens protested Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Tahir region in central Baghdad against the airstrikes launched by U.S. Britain and France against Syria. Protesters raised Iraqi and Syrian flag in solidarity, chanting slogans against the U.S. and its allies. Saad al-Hadithi, spokesperson for the Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, was quoted last week by Iraqi.News.com as saying Iraqi troops at the northern borders of Iraq have been on high alert to confront any attacks that could come from Syria.
