The young Egyptian actress Zainah has closed her cellular phone since her sister was arrested. Zainah’s sister was recently caught selling heroin and is incarcerated until her court hearing.
According to the London daily Elaph, Zainah said that she was shocked by the lack of support from of her friends in the entertainment industry, especially since she stood by many of them during their personal crises.
Zainah also said that she decided not to attend any of the court hearings to stay out of the media coverage. Journalists were forbidden from attending the hearings after chaos erupted during the first hearing when Zainah’s brother broke one of the journalist’s cameras.
